The main focus was on using the Balloon Mesh Brush to block out large shapes and quickly establish the main forms of a creature with four legs and two mantis-like arms.
I then showed how to refine and rearrange those elements into a more cohesive design using simple adjustments and proportions.I also demonstrated how to use ZRemesher as a sketching tool, pulling, pushing, and re-remeshing on the fly to refine shapes while keeping the mesh low poly and clean.
This alternative workflow works similarly to Dynamesh, but keeps your topology light so you can stay focused on exploring big, bold shapes before worrying about details. It’s a fast, flexible way to prototype complex creature ideas while keeping the process fun and experimental.
