In this session, I continue refining the Uakari creature head we started in previous weeks. The focus this time is on polishing the surface and bringing it to life with skin detail. I show how to use and adjust custom brushes from my Skin Brushes Pack to build a base surface noise, then layer on pores, wrinkles, and other micro-details (including the Wrinkle Pusher 2).
I also walk through creating a completely custom brush by taking a tileable black and white texture from Krita into ZBrush to generate simple folds and wrinkles. By the end of the session, the creature’s skin starts to feel real and tactile, and you’ll see how these techniques can be applied to your own characters.
