This video is the first part of a short tutorial series where I show you my thinking approach to learn a new software and how I use the concept of a metaphor to relate to complex processes. This tutorial is a little bit more abstract than other guides you’ll find on the ZBGs but I think it might be one of the most relevant for someone starting with ZBrush.

ZBrush is a metaphor

The thinking approach to learning the software

This is a rather abstract tutorial, where I share the experience of my first contact with ZBrush and how I developed a process to study and learn the software. This is not a step-by-step guide about a specific feature, but the content in the video is very relevant for anyone getting started with ZBrush.

In this video, I talk about my frustrations when I started learning ZBrush and I share a summary of my experience condensed into a ‘way of thinking’ about the software that could help you understand some of the basics a bit better.
